We're talking indie folk that's more campfire sing along than pretentious coffee shop strumming, acoustic chills that'll send shivers down your spine without resorting to elevator music, and a sprinkle of country twang to remind you there's still a little yeehaw left in the world. So, ditch the chart-topping trash and tune in to the Ripman Show – it's the antidote to the musical mayhem plaguing the airwaves. Just don't blame him if you find yourself spontaneously sprouting a beard and yearning for a simpler time.

Soul Food, where we’ll be listening to the best soul, jazz and funk tracks. I’ll be playing newcomers, classics, spinning rare vinyl, with the occasional guest feature. I, myself, am a recording and performing musician under the moniker Limbo Days, and also part of the soul duo Stereo Rose, who I have a monthly residency with at the world famous Jacaranda Club in Liverpool, known for being the first place the Beatles ever played. I’m also founder and resident DJ of vinyl funk & soul night Funk Yeah!. We have a monthly residency at Manchester’s The Rat and Pigeon. If you’re ever around, pop down for your fix of funk, soul and disco, spun till the early hours of the morning.
